"St Laurent Class Boiler Room" by R. Brisson, 1964

The first work of art, drawn by artist R. Brisson in 1964, depicts the boiler room of a St. Laurent Class Destroyer Escort, with the Boiler Operator (CPO2 Larry Garrigan) controlling the steam pressure in the main boilers at the Boiler Room Console.  This is an image familiar to many of today's Engineering Personnel.
